A big thank you to Julie Duke for her donation of a vintage Checkering Baby Grand "Parlor" piano, ivory keys and all! We're proud to announce that this piano found a home at the Duke Ellington School for the Arts here in Georgetown! They were so thrilled to receive this piano and I know they will take good care of your grandmother's beloved instrument. I loved hearing your wonderful story about her and am so glad her piano will be able to carry on this history to the new generations. Thank you again and I hope you stay in touch!
