Chinese lyric soprano, Hanni Li, brings a wealth of knowledge to hear students from her international vocal career, which has taken her from China, Italy, and the USA. Ms. Li holds a Bachelor of Music from China Central Conservatory of Music and a Graduate Performance Diploma from Peabody Institute at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.
Ms. Li has began her vocal training at 17 years old. The first time she won the singing price was the “Happy Village” competition in her hometown Shenzhen when she was only 8 years old, driving her to the professional career of singing. Her international career has included performances in the Japanese Music Concert (Central Conservatory), the Symphonies Mahler (Grand National Theatre), Madame Butterfly and Eugene Onegin (Concert hall of Beijing and Grand National Theatre), and the International Lyric Academy & Tuscia Opera Festival (Italy). Recently, Ms. Li presented the role of Anna Maurrant in “Street Scene” (Baltimore Lyric Opera House) and presented three recitals at Griswold Hall of the Peabody Institute.
