A semester is a more structured program than more casual private lessons. Designed after a higher education conservatory’s curriculum to maximize learning, engagement, and achievement, our semesters offer weekly private lessons, monthly group participation masterclasses, electives, practice rooms, and a final performance or jury, including ABRSM, MTNA, WMTA, & NATS opportunities. School credit may be requested. Adults, teens, & children 6 and up welcome.

Hour Lessons
Hour lessons are necessary for the serious study of an instrument and proper preparation to perform. Semesters are focused on preparation for performances, including monthly masterclasses and recitals.
30 & 45 Mins lessons are available in Semesters to children, and to adults as non-semester lessons.
Masterclasses
We typically offer masterclasses each month to expose students to as many knowledgeable instructors as we can. Masterclasses are essential to earning high scores during juries.
Semester Students: Free
Non-Semester Fee: $50
Masterclasses optional for children
Juries
Juries are a great way to gauge progress. If you are looking to move up to higher level classes and faculty, perform in the honors recital, or just get feedback, presenting to a jury is the first step. The jury will give you a score and also some comments and recommendations.
Juries optional
Recitals
We offer three recitals per year, one of which is an honors recital. In addition, all students regardless of age are encouraged to participate in their recital to present to the public, friends, and family.
Semester Students: Free
Non-Semester Fee: $100
Scheduling of workshops, studio classes, masterclasses and recitals depends upon student participation.
Committed Students
Our semester is designed for serious students who wish to progress rapidly. They are expected to participate in masterclasses and recitals in addition to weekly private lessons. Students are also expected to practice daily. The product is a superior, results-driven education in the musical arts. Please speak with your teacher or our staff member about whether or not this is the best option for you and your schedule.
Children/Teens
This curriculum is especially beneficial for this age group. Parents may petition their child's school for credit for this program should they participate in the ABRSM exams. This program also puts known and recognized performances and credentials on your child's resume, setting them apart from other musicians applying for scholarships, auditions, and universities. This program will give your child recognition for their musical achievement.
College Adults
This curriculum is also extremely beneficial for college students who are not pursuing musical studies at their school. It is designed to reproduce a university music program and provide tangible, resume-building, and performance recognition for personal achievement, future conservatory auditions, future performance auditions, and more.
Post-College Adults
Whether you're just picking up an instrument or you're a seasoned musician, this program will keep your feet wet in performing your craft. From sitting for the ABRSM exams to presenting your own recital for friends and family to putting on a musicale for a local nursing home to performing in a local show, this program will help bring your music making out of your practice room to share your gifts with the world!
